You should be able to install
dahdi-linux-complete-3.1.0-rc1+3.1.0-rc1.tar.gz [1] which contains a
commit [2] that handles the fact that RHEL backported the new
timer_setup interface.

(although it looks like the dahdi-linux-complete tarball has not been
