[asterisk-users] Events off during AMI login - is this valid

According to some older documentation it is possible to disable subscription
to any AMI events during the authentication process by adding

 

Events: off

 

as a parameter to the login action.  Looking at the Digium documentation
from Asterisk 13 onwards:

I don't see mention of this parameter.  But...I think it works.  Is this an
omission error in the documentation?  Or is this parameter deprecated and I
need to issue a separate Events action like this:
