logger show channels 
Channel                             Type     Status    Configuration
-------                             ----     ------    -------------
syslog.local0                       Syslog   Enabled    - NOTICE WARNING ERROR SECURITY 
/var/log/asterisk/security_log      File     Enabled    - SECURITY 
                                    Console  Enabled    - NOTICE WARNING ERROR SECURITY 

Everything else except "security" works fine over syslog.
