Thanks Tony, that was it and it solved BOTH problem codec and callerID
Changing in Asterisk 1.8.7 [general] section
allow=all 

Thank again Tony! 

My [general] section I had by default:
;allow=all                       ; same as bandwidth=high
;disallow=g723.1                ; Hm...  Proprietary, don't use it...
disallow=lpc10                  ; Icky sound quality...  Mr. Roboto.
;allow=gsm                      ; Always allow GSM, it's cool :)
