Just a word of caution: I've had terrible luck with MySQL NDB tables in a multimaster setup. I'm not a big expert but v.5.0 and 5.1 have given me lots of reliability issues (I lost table data several times).
I'd like to try postgresql in a multimaster setup.

Realtime with a clustered database is a nice idea but is it reliable? Any long-term success stories?
