Well in that case I'm having a different issue.
When I do
channel request hangup SIP/xxxxxxxx-00001136
I get a
Requested Hangup on channel 'SIP/xxxxxxxx-00001136'
response but the channel never hangs up
I'm having to restart the asterisk to clear the channels and that is not
an optimum solution!

Has anyone else encountered this or can see something obvious that I'm
doing wrong?
