[asterisk-users] issue with installtion asterisk

You found "a file" in "etc asterisk"?, what file?

My English is not very good (sorry for that), but if you meant that you 
found '/etc/asterisk' directory, but it was empty, then you are missing 
the configuration files, do this:

yum install asterisk16-configs*


For a list of available/installed packages regarding to Asterisk, do this:

yum list asterisk16*

The outer right column shows installed/available 
(asterisk-current/digium-current) packages.
