Hey Guys! 

Just recently i come to know about this option CONFIG_HZ=1000 in kernel is
this important for asterisk application ?  we have ubuntu with CONFIG_HZ=100
should i think about this option ?

root at shirley:/boot# cat config-2.6.32-30-server | grep CONFIG_HZ_
CONFIG_HZ_100=y
# CONFIG_HZ_250 is not set
# CONFIG_HZ_300 is not set
# CONFIG_HZ_1000 is not set


Can anybody explain me about this option and important in asterisk point of
view.
