Can you let something like 'while true; do date >> interrupt_log.txt;
cat /proc/interrupts >> interrupt_log.txt; echo "***********" >>
interrupt_log.txt; sleep 10; done'  Run and see IRQ line has a jump in
total interrupts (on any CPU) about the time you notice the IRQ spike
from your snmp log?
