That's exactly what we recommend for DB/realtime installs.  HAAST's focus is the failover, promotion, assignment of IP, etc. but links to standard tools for file/db sync.  In line with the philosophy of try to not be everything to everybody...

What about ODBC/IMAP voicemail storage? Works great with MySQL
