Thanks Steve and Andy
I did see this option.
But I dont want to depend on the service provider.
I want to convert SIP to PSTN using Asterisk and than connect directly to a pstn network.
here is what I am looking:
sip lite calls PSTN network
call goes from sip lite to Asterisk
I will make the modifications (translations) so that it goes to Digium Card I have.
now Can I connect this Card to the PSTN terminal in my house. (from Digium card to PSTN terminal ???)

As an alternative, you can get an account with a SIP or IAX termination
provider.
Outgoing minutes (depending where you are in the world) should cost less
than US$0.02 per minute with no monthly standing charge.
Even at that inflated rate, you'd have to use 1,500 minutes a month (about
an hour a day) to break even with the US$30.00 monthly standing charge of
a land line.
Since most of my calls are on my cell, I only have to kick US$20 into my
Vitelity.net account a couple of times a year -- a big win over the US$360
I'd piss away on a land line in standing charges alone.

Thanks in advance,
