[asterisk-users] G729 exhaustion conditions

Hi all,
Suppose I buy and install one G729 codec. Suppose there is one call going on where both end-points have G729 codecs and the Asterisk is not doing any transcoding. Does this conversation exhaust my G729 license (even though this call would have worked without license in the first place) or do I still have the ability to use this G729 codec for other call which requires transcoding?
