[asterisk-users] Compiling to use IMAP: how?

What version of ubuntu are you running??  That makes a difference...

But you need to install libc-client.  On my system it is libc-client2007b and libc-client2007b-dev

Once you install those packages, then do './configure --with-imap' and you should be good to go...

You need to read the documentation, specifically doc/imapstorage.txt,
which is conveniently located in the source tree and named with a name
very similar to the feature you are trying to use :-)
