Well, in my experience cell phone provider also cancel the line after a certain 
period of time. If you have your mailbox enabled the call would be send there, 
if not it is cancelled. Since singalling bandwith is not an endless ressource in 
the wireless world they want to free a signalling channel as soon as possible.

If am wrong i will deny everthing i have said and claim the opposite ;)
