The legacy bri phone is a Hagenuk Europa 30i:

and Hagenuk in the 90' was kind enough to give me below NDA the protocol
description of the 30i to talk to it via RS232 from a UNIX SVR4.2 host
to log calls etc.  I wrote my own piece of software for that;

as well for PCMCIA stuff, patches etc. ... but I have no experience in
writing driver for BRI cards :-)
