[asterisk-users] zaptel compile kernel problem

asterisk:/usr/src/zaptel-1.2.27# uname -r
2.6.18-6-486
doesn't that mean that I have already got the precise version in my
box? (uname - r-kernel-release print the kernel release) ? why do I
have to install the same kernel?
