Even so, Polycom definitely has an improved attutude towards the
Asterisk user community. I've been dealing wioth the directly on some
matters and they've been quite good.

As to the firmware, I recently bought some phones from a vendor and
shortly thereafter was notified of the new release. Talk about customer
service!
