yes : that's why I displayed both values here :

exten => _753X,n,Set(foo=${SIPPEER(${EXTEN}:curcalls)})
exten => _753X,n,Set(foo2=${SIPPEER(${EXTEN}:limit)})
exten => _753X,n,NoOp(${foo} ${foo2})

call-limit is valued to 5 while curcalls remains equal to 0
or maybe I'm missing something obvious ...
