Yeppers. Right after editing /etc/ld.so.conf

############################################
# Begin ------ /etc/ld.so.conf

include /etc/ld.so.conf.d/*.conf

/usr/local/lib

# End: ------- /etc/ld.so.conf
############################################

Why wouldn't it be:
############################################
# Begin ------ /etc/ld.so.conf

include /etc/ld.so.conf.d/*.conf

include /usr/local/lib

# End: ------- /etc/ld.so.conf
############################################
