[asterisk-users] Audio Problem...

Hi,

I have set up the asterisk in Fedora 7 with SJphone, SJphone is
successfully registered under asterisk console.....so i had some tests
on the extension......but there were messages saying that
something(probably .gsm files) were being played, but i heard
nothing.....there were also some warning messages saying that in
Asterisk CLI ERROR:sound device currently not available(some sort like
this).....may i know what's wrong?

1)do i need to install any codec in order to solve this problem?
actually i have downloaded the iLBC source files...but do not how to
install it...."make install", "./configure" cannot be executable....so
any ideas?
  whether  it is codecs problem ? or Firewall problem?? Or anyother
