have you compiled ztdummy module? Try to remove ztdummy from you system (in
/etc/default zaptel comment ztdummy module)
We need to see what happens if zaptel hardware provide the clock, If it is
the case you will see a line like that:

oot at ttyp0[~]# cat /proc/zaptel/*
Span 1: WCTDM/0 "Wildcard TDM400P REV I Board 1" (MASTER)
