we had a similar error, found somewhere (voip-info.org?) this solution:

exten => _**2XX,1,SET(GLOBAL(PICKUPMARK)=${EXTEN:2})
exten => _**2XX,n,PickUp(${EXTEN:2})

where 2XX are our internals...

don't remember why, but it works with GS GXP2010s and with
Thomson ST2030s.
