Sudo recently (?) added a new parameter in /etc/sudoers that caused me a 
lot of grief. Comment out "Defaults requiretty" and see if it helps.

Also, your custom /etc/init.d/asterisk script ("start fim?") may not be 
redirecting stdin/stdout/stderr correctly.
