No. The current zaptel is Linux-centric. Everything else (Solaris,
FreeBSD, OpenBSD (?), whatever) is maintained elsewhere.

Zaptel provides basically 3 functions for Asterisk:

* interface to telephony devices
* A timing source for some operations
* Mixing for Meetme.
