Sorry for my late reply:
Here is my zapata.conf

usecallerid=yes
hidecallerid=no
callwaiting=no
threewaycalling=yes
transfer=yes
echocancel=yes
echotraining=yes
 define channels
context=incoming ; Incoming calls go to [incoming] in extensions.conf
signaling=fxs_ks ; Use FXS signaling for an FXO channel
channel => 2

and zaptel.conf

fxsks=2
loadzone=us
defaultzone=us

and lspci output is:

06:00.0 Communication controller: Intel Corporation 536EP Data Fax Modem
        Subsystem: Intel Corporation: Unknown device 1000
        Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 209
        Memory at fe000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4M]
        Capabilities: [e0] Power Management version 2

and /proc/zaptel/1 contains only this:
Span 1: ZTDUMMY/1 "ZTDUMMY/1 (source: Linux26) 1"
