[asterisk-users] T.38 fax solution, opinions?

I guess that's my question. Is this the standard method of doing faxing?
Just point the PRI DIDs to a TDM and hang fax machines off of the ports?

If this is the generally accepted method of doing things (ie, it works very
reliably) then I'm good to go. The utilization of 3102s on the links instead
of old fashioned fax machines will work for getting the faxes into Exchange
2007 UM as long as the lines behave just fine for fax machines. They'll act
as T.38 gateways in and out of the network for faxes.

On that note, anyone have experience with the TDM880B? Is it worth the price
($755 at the moment on digium.com)?
