I was using busydetect on a system, that in the middle of a call, it 
would think the line was busy and hang up.  I didn't find this out until 
I ran Asterisk in debug mode for around a week.  It clearly showed this 
in the logs. 

I'd suggest running debug for a bit and see if it also shows anything.

Edit your /etc/asterisk/logger.conf and uncomment the full section.  
Restart Asterisk and wait for it happen again.
