Xorcom Rapid is Free software[*]. Unlike other products, it is not a direct
source of revenue for Xorcom. This is why I generally treat announements
of products we sell differently than those of our free software.

Anyway, when I post an announcement to this list I try to keep it
hype-free and to-the-point. I also try to make it correct, because if I
won't, someone might embarrass me in public by correcting me.

In that specific case they were indeed the first to make Asterisk speak
Russian, but even before them Asterisk spoke Italian:

A company that boasts its Asterisk speciality should know such trivia.

Furthermore, they also published in voip-info services they don't
provide on their site in a suspicious manner.

I don't mind that, as long as it is relevant information and not a
meaningless press release. The subject of their message did not even
mention the name of the product and/or company. It was a press-release
spam that does not belong in such a busy list.

[*] As always, when I write "free software" I refer to libre. In this case
it also happens to be gratis.
