Do you have a /etc/asterisk/gtalk.conf file. The module will as far as I
know only load when there is a configuration file.
Enable debug in the CLI and write "module unload chan_gtalk.so" and then
"module load chan_gtalk.so". What happens?
chan_jingle has been replaced by chan_gtalk recently in the 1.4 branch.

Hello All
I have been trying to get Google Talk to work with Asterisk 1.4 SVN for a
month now and am getting nowhere fast. Does anybody know how to load
chan_gtalk.so and chan_jingle.so? I have tried to do it from with the
modules.conf file as well as issuing from the CLI modules (load
chan_gtalk.so) but when I do a module list it does not show up as loaded.
Before installing asterisk I made sure that Gtalk and Jingle were selected
in the make menuselect and I can see the modules in the
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules directory.
Any help would be most appreciated.
