[asterisk-users] Polycom Buddy Watch Setup help request

Here is an example of what I have:

in extensions.conf:

exten => 2111,hint,SIP/2111
exten => 2111,1,Dial(SIP/2111,60)

my Polycom's all pull config's via TFTP. Due to the nature of our setup, I
have individual configuration files for each phone. I have in my
<mac-address-directory.xml> file the following entries for the users I want
to watch via presence:

                <item>
                        <ln>User</ln>
                        <fn>Joe</fn>
                        <ct>2111</ct>
                        <sd>2</sd>
                        <rt>13</rt>
                        <dc/>
                        <ad>0</ad>
                        <ar>0</ar>
                        <bw>1</bw>
                        <bb>0</bb>
                </item>

and in my <mac-address-phone.cfg> file for the phones I have:

up.useDirectoryNames="1" feature.1.name="presence" feature.1.enabled="1"
included in my <PHONE_CONFIG></PHONE_CONFIG>.

That should be all you need. Hope that helps.

I second this!

I'm about to set up some Polycom 601 + Sidecars and I'm also having
difficulty finding anything covering the overall 'buddy' config.
Examples would be greatly appreciated.
