LOL, I've only just begun testing Polycoms, so I can't say I've seen that
before... I think it's really a question of when you're doing the work on
the server... We do all our major server work when there's nobody on the
system so there's no effect on the users, but even then, we rarely
restart/reload the sip channel (or the system itself) and when we do, it's
for a damn good reason. I do know that the Cisco's just re-register and
turn on the light regardless, so I think it's just the Polycom's usage of
the actual number of messages that causes that problem. Nobody here would
notice this "fart" you speak of :-P
