There are some settings on the xml config files that mention AEC, AES and
AGC for headset, handset and speakerphone... Ill play with them around to
see if they really work on each of the mentioned in/out's

|first Polycom phones.  Back then the answer was "no".  Echo 
|cancel was only supported in speakerphone mode.  However, I
