[Asterisk-Users] Calls keep ringing after being picked up

This is *not* bizarre behaviour.  Check your sip.conf file and add
this line if it doesn't exist:

progressinband=no

Then restart asterisk.

Sounds iike your provider is not correctly sending indications to you.
