SV: [Asterisk-Users] HP Proliant server?

Thanks! I was looking for that page. I know I've seen it before. I guess we're lucky that we're running asterisk on a PowerEdge 600SC today (since many PowerEdge seem unsupported). ;)

But I'm also interested in hands-on experience on running asterisk and digium cards on HP proliants. So if anyone has had this experience - please share! We need to upgrade really quick and I need to know as possible.

OR if you could recomend ANOTHER common server for in the $1000-$3000 pricerange that can handle minimum 50 simultaneous SIP(ulaw)->Zap calls.

Ps.
If someone wants a low-budget server for asterisk that can handle ~10-20 simultaneous SIP->Zap calls (depending on what you do) I can tell you that there's absolutly no problem running asterisk 1.2.1 with a TE405P card on a PowerEdge 600SC with 1-2 GB of ram. With more than 20 calls we're experiencing sound drops...

We've only used Dell before and are thinking about upgrading to a hp ProLiant ML350 G4p.
