Hmmm, you probably meant something like
http://pdo.debian.net/stable/source/newt
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/n/newt/newt_0.51.6.orig.tar.gz

(The source in the debian copyrights file is a source rpm packge from
ftp.redhat.com)

But then-again, doesn't your distro carry it? On what
platform/distribution do you build Asterisk?
