[asterisk-users] Configure mailserver to deliver voicemail

G'Day List,
 
I am looking for documentation on how to configure sendmail to deliver asterisk voicemails to the recipient's mailbox.
I Googled it but found many many references to the fact that asterisk can do that but no How-To's.
 
I believe sendmail is running on my asterisk box as:
[root at VOIP /] # mail 
returns... Mail version 8.1 6/6/93
 
Also, my voicemail.conf is already configured.
