[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk on AMD64

Are there any measureable advantages to using Asterisk on X86_64 Linux (CPU
utilization, realtime performance, echo can, transcoding etc.) ?  What about
disadvantages (memory usage, thunking, etc.)

It does work all right here as a native 64-bit app, on a 64-bit kernel with
zaptel and BRIstuff!
