[Asterisk-Users] callfiles: set variables ?

Hi all,

how may I set in callfiles additional variables so that I might reference 
them later in the extensions.conf ?
eg. TESTDATA=ABCD

I didnt find an example in www.voip-info.org.

Is it possible at all ? I ask because I need several vars beyond 
ACCOUNTCODE.

Are there difference in the ccapabilities between 1.0.9 and 1.2?
