[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk T.38 question

Hello,

I'm looking for some solution how to use Asterisk as a Fax
server. I have an ISDN line terminated on Patton SmartNode 1400. SN1400
is then connected to the LAN with Asterisk PBX using SIP.
I want to make Asterisk send faxes to/receive faxes from PSTN
via Patton.
As Asterisk doesn't support T.38 I have to use fax bypass on
SN1400. But when I try to send a fax from PSTN to the ISDN number and
use RxFAX in Asterisk I get garbage tiff. It looks to me, as if Asterisk
only reads the initial fax negotitation but no data. I'm afraid that
Asterisk (RxFAX) doesn't do any negotiation.
So I think about using T.38, which is supported by SN1400, but not by
Asterisk. Is there any T.38 channel implementation for Asterisk 1.2.0?
I've found only some info at http://www.ionidea.ua/oss/asterisk/, but
it's for Asterisk 1.0.7 only.
