read the article, that isnt what is going on there.  Specifically what
is going on is transcoding video then pulling that back from the video
card (say converting a mpeg to wmv).  

Thanks for the time to write back on this issue however, although it
would have been nicer if you read the article first so you knew what was
being talked about in this specific instance :/

The article has benchmarks on video, as that is all the tool from ATI
currently does, although you wouldnt be able to use that tool -
especially in its current state - however you would be able to use the
concept of that tool.
