What is C?  What is C++?  C#?  Pascal?  Fortran?  etc...


... if you start thinking 'outside-the-box' they are ALL just languages 
that tell the computer what to do -- at some point they are ALL 
translated into something the computer itself understands.  So to agree 
with everyone else who has stated that the premise of Programming 
Languages != Scripting Languages, I state -- next question please!
