[Asterisk-Users] Good NAT Pnp Hardphone

Hello Guys,
I suspect you misunderstood. What I am lokinng for is a hardphone that works well. Asterisk itself is running fine... The issue is for example, if in europe, behind an uncontrollable nat, are there good phones that can handle this without requiring the configuration of the external address?

For example, both cisco and polycom, and even pingtel, require you to use an interface method to update the external address manually...

Thanks,
Greg

Then you need to use externip= localnet=, portforward 5060 and whatever ports you are using for RTP. Check rtp.conf. I don't recall if rtp.conf controls incoming or outgoing RTP packets. You have to portforward whatever ports the incoming RTP is.

This has been discussed to death on the mailing lists. Check the archives.
