I question that. A corrupted download would lead to all kinds of other 
issues like missing or gibberish source files, since it would be impossible 
to decompress them. The result wouldn't compile. (You ever wonder what 
would happen if the Star Trek transporter were set to ASCII at one end?) 
It's far more likely to be a configuration problem.
