In that case, Your dhcp may be returning the TFTP server address in the
wrong DHCP option... there are a few that are used... DHCP options 66 and
150 IIRC...

Try to Eliminate the DHCP (to ensure that the phone does actually work) by
setting the TFTP server in the phone manually. Power up the phone, press the
settings softkey during the bootstrap, scroll down to and select server menu
and make sure that it is actually set to TFTP... from the factory the
polycoms are configured to use FTP not TFTP. enter your server address, exit
and save and reboot. You should then be able to boot the phone, assuming
that the TFTP server has all the needed files... (first boot of a factory
fresh IP300 can take up to 20 minutes IF the firmware you intend to use is
newer than the factory load)

Once you can actually boot the phone you can then change clear the
configuration and fight with the configuration of your DHCP server.
