Cico and Polycom phones both seem to be really great phones. However,
each phone has advantages and drawbacks.

Polycom:
   Less expensive
   Comes with power supply
Does Cisco PoE and standard PoE (different special required for each)
Polycom does NOT support their phones to end users
Firmware is free, but not given to end users

Cisco:
   More expensive
Does NOT come with power supply
Only does Cisco PoE (or standard PoE, depending on the model)
   Firmware is NOT free.
Cisco does not support end users without a service contract

If you want SIP firmware with the Cisco Phones then you have to purchase
it from Cisco.
