[Asterisk-Users] Firefly repeats registering to * server

This may not strictly be an asterisk question, but not sure where else
to post ...

I have an Asterisk test server setup with two firefly clients, one on
the local lan and one on an external ip address. Both clients are setup
the same way and voice calls work fine. The asterisk console reports a
"Registered" message for the external client at about one minute
intervals but the internal client registers on startup and then doesn't
seem to register again. Both are set to use IAX.

I can't see any Firefly IAX settings that could affect registering. The
Asterisk "iax2 show peers" output shows both the internal and external
ip's and both have status as unmonitored.

Is the reregistering normal behaviour for an external client ?

TIA,

Dave
