How about a non-traditional solution...skips FXOs altogether. After
much experimentation with SPA-3K, TDM400p and X101p I abandoned the
idea of a local FXO. I call forward my remaining POTS lines to DIDs
provided from an ITSP. This solution has been completely reliable for
over a year. Choose your ITSP wisely, but you can always defeat the
call forwarding and take POTS calls manually...albeit not through
asterisk. Works well for small offices.
