[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk as a gatekeeper

Hello,

         Right now i'm trying to set-up a gatekeeper and i'm having a
hardtime doing it, what i'm thinking is instead of having a gatekeeper i'll
use the asterisk to be a gatekeeper.
         Can the asterisk be a gatekeeper?
