Weird. IAX should be fine with that version, but I suppose it  
wouldn't hurt to upgrade to the
1.0.9 (or 10) final 1.0 release version.

I don't know what the problem is, but as I said, the next move would  
be to run
ethereal to capture the packets and see what the cause code actually  
was.
