[Asterisk-Users] app_sms: using * as an smsc

Hi,

i've been discovering app_sms and it states that it can act as an smsc 
for landline sms. Receiving SMS from my Gigaset Phones is no problem and 
the SMS are stored as files on by * box. So far so good.

Let us assume that i have a couple of phones which should be able to 
receive SMS directly from my * box ( and not from an SMSC from BT or 
Deutsche Telekom ), So all these phones have the phone number of the * 
as Service Center configured. I recognized that the numbers of other 
SMSCs differs for outgoing and incoming SMS.

Does this have to be in my setup also ? So if a phone sends to * an SMS 
with the number 555, if i want to send to this phone it will have to 
come from 5550 so that the phone accepts it and does not ring?

Are there any brand specific settings?

I hope that anybody can help me a little bit ;-)
